Job Summary / objective:
We’re looking for a Recruitment Partner who knows housing recruitment, and knows how to do it brilliantly.
Hoop Housing is growing, and we’re looking for an ambitious, driven and genuinely people-focused Senior Recruitment Partner to join our team.
This isn’t about simply filling vacancies. It’s about building relationships, understanding the housing sector, becoming a trusted partner to our clients, and making sure every candidate gets an exceptional experience from the first conversation to the final placement.
If you’ve got at least 18 months’ experience recruiting within the housing sector across Wales or the South West of England, we’d love to hear from you.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll take ownership of your own clients and candidates, building long-term relationships and becoming a trusted recruitment partner within the housing sector.
Your role will include:

Developing and managing strong relationships with housing organisations across Wales and the South West

Identifying new business opportunities and growing existing client relationships

Sourcing, attracting and engaging high-quality candidates across the housing sector

Managing the full recruitment process from initial briefing through to placement

Providing honest, knowledgeable and consultative advice to both clients and candidates

Building a strong network of housing professionals and becoming known as someone people want to work with

Working collaboratively with the wider Hoop team to deliver an outstanding service

Representing the Hoop brand with energy, professionalism and integrity
About you
We’re looking for someone who is driven, ambitious and hungry to succeed, but who understands that great recruitment is ultimately about people.
You’ll ideally have:

A minimum of 18 months’ housing recruitment experience within Wales or the South West of England

A strong understanding of the housing sector and the roles within it
-
A proven ability to build and maintain excellent client and candidate relationships

A natural commercial mindset and the confidence to develop new business

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

The resilience and determination to succeed in a fast-paced recruitment environment

A genuine commitment to delivering an exceptional level of customer service

Qualifications and Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication for interacting with candidates, colleagues, and clients.

Proficiency in previous ATS/CRM system.

Active listening to understand candidate preferences and client requirements accurately.

Proficiency in using various sourcing techniques, including job boards, social media, and professional networking platforms.

Building a strong candidate pipeline by proactively engaging with potential candidates.

Evaluating CVs and applications to identify qualified candidates.

Conducting phone screenings and preliminary interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.

Developing a clear understanding of job descriptions and client requirements to match candidates effectively.

Time management, prioritising tasks to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple job openings simultaneously.

Efficiently managing candidate communication and documentation.

Accurately recording candidate information and maintaining a comprehensive candidate database.

Handling sensitive candidate information with discretion and maintaining a high level of confidentiality.

Following ethical practices in candidate interactions and data management.
