Pay rate up to £42.95 per hour Umbrella company subject to level of hire in line with ADSS pledge
An exciting opportunity has become available in the fostering service in RCT. The authority have a specialised support and assessment team and they have a vacancy working within their assessment side of the service. We are open to receiving applications from social workers available as little as 16 hours up to full time but whom can commit to regular days with the local authority.
If you are looking for a new challenge in fostering then the service is a busy, supportive and experienced service offering a range of support and assessment services and they are keen to develop further to ensure they provide a skilled and quality service to children looked after and foster carers.
The assessment team undertakes the viability and unified assessments and is a small skilled team who have a wide knowledge base and experience in specialist Kinship Care assessments.
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic social worker who have a knowledge and understanding of the needs and experiences of children looked after and a working knowledge of fostering regulations and childcare legislation. You will need to have knowledge of the updated form f assessment and process as per latest regulations and be familiar with the National Foster Wales Framework.
