- Promote interdisciplinary learning as outlined in the Welsh curriculum’s Humanities AoLE
- Encourage critical thinking about historical events, ethical issues, environments, cultures, and societies
- Use pre-set lesson plans and adapt your approach to meet the needs of all learners
- Uphold school policies and maintain a purposeful learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Humanities (History, Geography, RE or similar subjects) in a UK secondary school
- An understanding of the Curriculum for Wales, particularly the Humanities AoLE framework
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
- EWC registration (or willingness to register)
- Strong communication, behaviour management, and classroom leadership skills
- A passion for helping learners become ethically informed, knowledgeable citizens of Wales and the world
