Hospital Social Worker - Non-caseholding role

Swindon, Wiltshire

up to £36.54 per hour Umbrella company

A Qualified Social Worker is required to join Great Western Hospital team on behalf of Wiltshire Council. The contract will initially run for a 3 month period but likely to continue into the Summer months. Pay rate for this role is £36.54  umbrella company.

You will be predominantly required to undertake in-reach work at GWH. This is a full time role and expectation is that you work full time on site at the hospital. The role is a non caseholding position. Your job will involve supporting customers who do not require formal admission to return home with a package of care.You will be joint working with health colleagues to support safe and timely discharges.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

  • A minimum of 3 years experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker and in adult services
  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing 
  • Driving license with access to a car
