Children and Families Team - Social Worker
Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38.15 Umbrella

We are looking for a passionate, motivated and experienced Social Worker to join our Mental Health Team. This is a small, well-established, dedicated social care service for people with severe and enduring mental health conditions. The mental health social work teams provide specialist services for adults over 18. The teams support people to recover from periods of difficulty with their mental health and for people to stay as independent as possible by providing support that is person-centred which gives people choice and control in their lives. As a Mental Health Social Worker, you will also be involved in assessing, coordinating, and arranging care for service users with mental health problems, including dementia, both in the community and in the hospital. You will need to be Registered with Social Work England / your appropriate Professional body. Experience of working in a health or social care setting is essential, along with excellent communication skills. You will need to demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for integrated working and an understanding of how we can best engage with our local communities and other partners in a meaningful way. Working model: Hybrid (50% of working hours from home) Hours per week: 37
Location: County Hall, Trowbridge
Pay Rate: £35 umbrella ltd

- A relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Care Wales
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
