Full Job Description
Hoop Education is looking for a full-time Secondary teacher to join our team. We are seeking someone passionate about teaching and inspiring students to learn and achieve. This position is based in one of our Caerphilly schools.

Responsibilities
  • Encourage students to use critical thinking skills to solve problems and develop their imagination
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters engagement, self-esteem, and self-efficacy
  • Collaborate with parents and other teachers to build a learning community that meets the needs of each student
  • Communicate effectively with parents and students via the iPad or phone app
  • Develop an understanding of students’ cultural backgrounds
Qualifications
  • Passion for teaching students from all backgrounds (e.g., English Language Arts, History, Literature, Science)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with parents, students, teachers, and administration
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong imagination and critical thinking skills
