An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Business Partner/ Adviser to work for a business in the Walsall area who are going through a period of significant growth. You would be part of a HR function based in the head office who provide a quality and responsive service to the whole business, primarily with disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes. The role requires an ability to advise on a legislative and commercial level, to provide prompt business and people solutions.  

The main duties within this role include:
  • Provide operational support and advise on all Employee Relations matters
  • Provide prompt and accurate notification of upcoming changing legislation and advise accordingly
  • Partner with Compliance to ensure all appropriate policies, procedures and legal requirements are consistently adhered to
  • Develop and review HR policies in line with current legislation
  • Advise Line Managers on conducting investigations, disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings - holding these where necessary
  • Attend UK wide company locations to provide onsite HR support
  • Work in partnership with Line managers in relation to performance management
  • Partner with Learning and Development to drive employee development where necessary
  • Assist with HR projects
  • Undertake all relevant HR Admin
  • Process incoming and outgoing TUPE transfers
Experience Required:
  • You must have experience of working within HR at Adviser level, experience within Employee Relations is essential
  • Experience of working in a fast paced and demanding environment 
  • Solutions focused
  • Strong communications skills
  • Attention to details
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Ideally CIPD qualified, but not essential as long as relevant HR experience is demonstrated
