Hospital Social Worker
Cardiff
up to £32 Umbrella
A Social Worker is required to join a Hospital Discharge team for an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend. Dependent upon fluidity you could be based at either St Davids Hospital in the City Centre, Llandough Hospital or UHW. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced and supportive team working in a fast paced environment to affect timely discharges from hospital. Pay rate for this position is £32 per hour as an umbrella company worker.

- Ability to work with a wide range of professionals championing the voice of the citizen at all time
- Sound knowledge of the Social Services & Wellbeing Act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and the Human Rights Act.
- Commitment to working in a strengths based way
- Experience of supervising staff
You will need to hold a relevant social work qualification and be registered with the Social Care Wales. A driver is not required for this position. You will be subject to an enhanced DBS and references covering a period of 3 years.
