We’re working with a well-established organisation seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join its finance team. You’ll get broad exposure to business performance, contribute to planning and reporting, and work with colleagues across the organisation to help turn financial data into useful insight.

This varied role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting into the detail, asking thoughtful questions and explaining what the numbers mean. You’ll have the chance to grow your skills while supporting decisions across different areas of the business.

What you’ll be involved in

- Preparing regular financial updates and helping bring performance trends to life.
- Supporting budgets, forecasts and planning cycles.
- Reviewing income and expenditure, investigating variances and highlighting key findings.
- Producing management reports that help colleagues understand performance.
- Working with operational teams to answer queries and support sound financial decisions.
- Contributing to month-end reporting and improving the quality of financial information.
- Taking on ad hoc analysis and projects that give you insight into the wider organisation.

What you’ll bring

- Experience in a finance or accounting role, with an interest in developing your management accounting skills.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large datasets.
- A curious, analytical approach and close attention to detail.
- The confidence to explain financial information clearly to colleagues without a finance background.
- A proactive, adaptable style and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A professional accounting qualification, or a genuine interest in studying towards one, such as CIMA or ACCA.
