Construction Lawyer

We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading, regional, full-service law firms, renowned for their commitment to legal excellence and unparalleled service. This firm has earned an enviable reputation, working with diverse organisations and individuals both in the UK and internationally.

Due to strategic growth and expansion, an exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced construction lawyer (ideally 3-4 PQE) to join their dynamic team in Cardiff. This is a chance to become an integral part of a small, high-performing team that advises on a spectrum of high-value and high-profile developments. The role involves handling both non-contentious and contentious work, contributing to major development, infrastructure, and regeneration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal counsel on construction aspects of real estate transactions.
  • Undertake both non-contentious and contentious work related to high-profile developments.
  • Support the real estate department with development matters.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, assisting senior associates and partners as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3-4 years post-qualification experience in construction law.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Confidence in handling a mix of non-contentious and contentious matters.
  • Previous experience supporting real estate transactions is advantageous.
