Hoop Education is currently seeking a dedicated, experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team to work in one of our partner schools in Pembrokeshire. This is a temporary position starting in September 2024 and continuing until at least January 2025.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to teachers and students within the classroom environment.
  • Assist in delivering educational programs and activities, with a focus on Welsh language proficiency.
  • Work closely with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide additional support as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the use and appreciation of the Welsh language.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall success of the classroom and students.
Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant or similar role within an educational setting is preferred.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Adaptability and willingness to work in various partner schools across Wales as assigned by Hoop Education Services.
  • Commitment to supporting the educational and emotional development of students.
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate is desirable.
