Description
Hoop Education are currently recruiting Welsh Speaking Teaching assistants for long term part time positions in the Haverfordwest region of Pembrokeshire.

 

The above roles are for 2 days a week until half term and potentially in a variety of Primary mainstream classes. If successful, the roles are highly likely to extend until the end of the academic year and possibly beyond.

 

All Teaching Assistant placements require applicants with sensitivity and understanding in order to build relationships with pupils in the school.  You must have the skills to motivate children to learn and have excellent listening skills in order to assess the pupils’ individual needs.

Requirements:

  • Have a minimum of 3 months relevant experience (working with children or vulnerable adults) which we are able to reference
  • Have a valid, enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to get one)
  • Be registered (or willing to register) with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
  • Be hard working and passionate about each and every role.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both teachers and pupils
