Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) – Ceredigion

Ceredigion | Temporary | 1–3 days per week

£40 per hour

Hoop Social Work are currently recruiting for an experienced Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) to support a Mental Health service in Ceredigion.

The client’s preference is for someone who can work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, although they are also happy to consider candidates who can commit to 1 or 2 days per week.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced AMHP looking for a flexible locum arrangement within a supportive local authority service.

The role

• AMHP duties within a busy Mental Health service

• Working alongside social care, health and other professionals

• Undertaking assessments and making appropriate decisions in line with the Mental Health Act

• Supporting individuals and their families through what can be challenging circumstances

• Working collaboratively with colleagues and partner agencies

• Flexible working pattern of 1, 2 or 3 days per week, with Tuesday–Thursday preferred

To apply for this role, you will need to hold:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience of working in the UK as a registered Social Worker

• A relevant Social Work Qualification

• Current registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England

• Current AMHP approval

• Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service, or be happy to apply for a new DBS

• 3 years of referencing

• A driving licence with access to a car
