Hoop Social Work is recruiting an experienced Children with Disabilities Social Worker to join North Somerset Council on a full-time agency contract until the end of the year.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated Children with Disabilities Team, working with children, young people and their families to ensure they receive the right support, services and interventions to achieve the best possible outcomes.
The Role
You will work closely with families of children with disabilities, undertaking assessments, developing and reviewing care plans, and coordinating support to meet individual needs.
Working alongside Family Support Workers and Direct Payments (DP) Workers, you will ensure children and their families receive the services they need while promoting positive outcomes and safeguarding their wellbeing.
Previous experience within a Children with Disabilities Team is essential.
Hybrid Working
This role offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement:

3 days per week based in the office

2 days per week working remotely
Please note, you will need access to your own vehicle to attend local home and site visits.

A minimum of 6 months' UK experience working as a registered Social Worker

A recognised Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW or equivalent)

Current registration with Social Work England

An Enhanced DBS, registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one

The ability to provide 3 years of employment references

A full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
