Children and Families - Social Worker (non case holding)

Pay rate in line with the pledge - up to £38 Umbrella

Our client is looking for an experienced Social Worker with strong written skills to provide high-quality support across their Children & Families service. This is a non-case holding role — ideal for someone who thrives on written practice and wants to make an impact without a traditional caseload.

Working at pace and supported by a Duty Manager, the post holder will focus on essential written tasks including completing duty forms, updating and maintaining case files, producing chronologies and case summaries, and supporting teams with accurate recording during periods of high demand.

Due to the nature of the role, fully remote working can be considered.

Pay & Allowances

• Rate: Up to £38ph depending on experience
• A £150 per week accommodation/commuter allowance is available for eligible candidates (subject to review at end of March 2026)

Essential Criteria

• Minimum 3 years post-qualifying experience
• Current Social Work England registration

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
