Child Protection - Advanced Social Worker

Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £42 Umbrella / £32.86 PAYE

1 day working from home.

Bristol’s area services teams have recently had an overwhelmingly positive focused visit from Ofsted which highlights ‘Workforce morale is high. Practitioners ‘love’ working for Bristol and feel highly supported by their managers. All practitioners, regardless of their length of time working for Bristol, feel valued and enabled to make a positive difference in improving the lives of vulnerable children

Average caseloads are currently around 15 children per worker. They work in small teams with excellent management availability. Each team has their own office space and each worker has their own desk so no hot desking!

This role is for an experienced child protection social worker in North Bristol.

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
