Assistant Team Manager - Fostering 

 

Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £41.58 Umbrella / £33 PAYE

This is an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Team Manager to join the Fostering Service in the Support Hub. You will support join a excellent supportive and friendly management team who work closely together to ensure effective day to day functioning of the Fostering Service. In Wrexham, the Fostering Service supports and assesses foster carers, Supported Lodgings, Special Guardianship Orders, connected people and reg 26s. You will supervise a team of dedicated and committed Social Workers. You will be responsive to any day to day issues which arise and be available to provide advice, guidance and management oversight to the team members as and when they need it. As part of this role, you will join a management duty rota, 1 day per week.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
