Interim Learning & Development Coordinator
Location: Cwmbran(predominantly office-based)
Contract: Interim – circa 2 months
Salary: Circa £40,000 pro rata
We’re working with a well-established organisation based in Cwmbran who are looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional to join them on an interim basis for approximately 2 months.
This is a hands-on role supporting the delivery and coordination of key L&D activity, ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of training delivery, administration, and stakeholder engagement.
The Role You’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience, while also supporting wider learning initiatives across the business.

The Role You’ll play a key role in ensuring a smooth and engaging onboarding experience, while also supporting wider learning initiatives across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering first day inductions for new starters
- Coordinating and managing all induction arrangements
- Managing L&D administration, including e-learning, feedback collation, and reporting
- Conducting monthly new starter check-ins
- Supporting the completion and rollout of the Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
- Aligning training requests identified through PDRs with business needs
- Booking training courses and maximising delegate numbers
- Managing the L&D inbox and day-to-day queries
- Coordinating onsite training sessions
- Logging training activity on the HR system (Selia) and managing waitlists
- Acting as the main point of contact for the off-site training facility
- Supporting with ad-hoc training delivery as required
You’ll have:
- Proven experience within Learning & Development, Talent, or a similar role
- Experience working within a larger organisation
- Confidence delivering training and inductions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to align training activity with business needs
- A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail
- Experience using L&D or HR systems and strong MS Office skills
- Immediate impact role with real ownership
