Job Description

HR Coordinator – Recruitment & Compliance

Location: Swansea
Salary: £30,000–£35,000, with flexibility for the right candidate
Contract: Six-month fixed-term contract
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, site-based
Start date: ASAP

Are you exceptionally organised, confident managing multiple priorities and ready to become a key part of a busy recruitment operation?
We’re looking for a proactive HR Coordinator to join a successful, well-established manufacturing organisation in Swansea. Sitting at the heart of the site’s recruitment activity, you’ll play an essential role in helping the business attract, assess and onboard the people it needs to succeed.

This is a genuinely varied opportunity offering exposure to both high-volume factory recruitment and salaried vacancies. You’ll work closely with hiring managers, coordinate up to 40 interviews each week and take ownership of the recruitment administration and compliance processes that keep everything moving.
With a salary of £30,000–£35,000, this could be a fantastic next step for an experienced HR or Recruitment Administrator who is ready for greater responsibility. We’re equally keen to hear from established Coordinators or Advisor-level candidates seeking a hands-on, people-focused role.
What you’ll be doing
  • Become a central point of contact for recruitment activity across the site.
  • Coordinate high-volume recruitment campaigns for factory-based positions.
  • Organise up to 40 interviews each week, managing schedules across candidates and hiring managers.
  • Prepare professional interview packs, schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Provide interview support and help create an organised, welcoming candidate experience.
  • Coordinate salaried recruitment campaigns in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate compliance records, ensuring every document is complete, current and properly tracked.
  • Keep managers and stakeholders informed through clear, timely recruitment updates.
  • Identify potential issues early and take a proactive approach to keeping recruitment activity on track.
  • Support wider HR activity while gaining valuable experience within a busy operational environment.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience within recruitment, HR, compliance or a similarly fast-paced coordination role.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to confidently manage a high volume of competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling recruitment and compliance documentation.
  • A positive, proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your workload.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with candidates, managers and colleagues.
  • The resilience and adaptability needed to succeed within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new HR and recruitment systems.
  • Availability to begin a new position at short notice.
A formal HR qualification is not essential. We’re much more interested in your practical experience, organisational ability and enthusiasm for delivering a smooth, professional recruitment process.
This is a brilliant opportunity to strengthen your HR and recruitment experience, work closely with operational leaders and make a visible contribution from day one. For someone ambitious and capable, it offers excellent exposure, genuine responsibility and the chance to become an integral part of a busy HR team.
