HR People Systems Data Analyst
Hoop PS&HR are partnering with a well-established organisation who are currently looking for an experienced HR People Systems Data Analyst to join their Human Resources team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support a collaborative environment where your expertise in HR data and systems will directly influence business decisions and improvements.
As an HR People Systems Data Analyst, you will work closely with the HR People Systems Manager to support HR reporting and people analytics. Your role will be critical in maintaining HR and payroll systems, ensuring data quality, and supporting the continuous improvement of HR services and processes. This is a full time and permanent opportunity based in Pontypridd, that comes with a salary of up to £37,000 and offers hybrid working.

Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day management and maintenance of HR systems, including data integrity checks, system testing, updates, and user assistance.
- Prepare, maintain, and deliver complex HR metrics, reports, and dashboards using Power BI.
- Provide accurate HR data and offer advice on organisational structures and policies. Alongside create operational and statutory reports.
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions to improve user proficiency and data quality across the business.
- Respond to and resolve system related queries and requests, escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
- Lead or contribute to projects involving HR system enhancements or integrations, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
- Conduct audits of HR systems and data compliance, providing clear reports and recommendations.
- Document system configurations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR technology to support continuous improvement efforts.
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with complex HR data sets and producing actionable insights through reporting and dashboards, ideally using Power BI.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects.
- Experience working with HRIS systems, preferably MHR iTrent and knowledge of SQL, DAX, Python, or R for data querying and manipulation.
