Job Description

HR Business Partner – South Wales & Southwest

£35000 + EAP | Hybrid (c.70% Travel) | Career Development Opportunity
Location: Covering services across South Wales, and Southwest

Hoop Professional Services & HR are proud to be supporting a highly respected organisation with a new opportunity for a HR Business Partner to join their established people team.

This is an ideal next step for a seasoned HR Advisor or HR Generalist who possesses strong employment law knowledge and is now ready to develop into a business partner. You'll enjoy real autonomy, partnering with leadership to shape and deliver people strategies, all within a supportive and collaborative HR team. With a hybrid working model, you'll balance home working with on-site support across the region. The role offers purpose and impact, working for an organisation dedicated to empowering vulnerable individuals, along with a competitive salary, Employee Assistance Programme, mileage, and accommodation for occasional overnight stays.

As HR Business Partner, you’ll work closely with managers across multiple sites to deliver a proactive and solutions-focused HR service. You will:

  • Advise and coach line managers on employee relations and employment law
  • Lead on TUPE transfers and investigations
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of people-related projects and initiatives
  • Drive talent retention and performance management strategies
  • Collaborate with shared services and central HR colleagues to promote excellence across the function
  • Use HR data and insight to inform strategic decision-making
We are seeking a proactive and conscientious HR professional who is confident working in a multi-site environment. You will ideally bring:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or working towards)
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice
  • Confidence managing a range of ER issues and supporting line managers
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use
We are shortlisting now – If you're looking for that next step in your HR career - somewhere you can truly make an impact while continuing to grow and develop - I urge you to reach out to the team at Hoop PS & HR today.
