Employability Officer
Hoop PS&HR are proud to be supporting an amazing training organisation in their search for an Employability Officer. You’ll play a key role in supporting participants to achieve meaningful employment, while ensuring health and safety compliance within workplace settings.
This role is focused on building new and developing existing employer engagement relationships to create job opportunities and work placements across Swansea. This role also comes with a salary of up to £27,000 and this is a full time and permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities:
- Source sustainable employment opportunities and secure quality work placements.
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with employers.
- Complete timely and accurate employer health & safety vetting.
- Ensure workplace appraisals and risk assessments meet legal and organisational standards.
- Collect and manage job start evidence in line with contract requirements.
- Actively match participants to appropriate opportunities and provide in-work support.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the local labour market to inform delivery.
- Complete all administrative tasks accurately, efficiently, and in line with compliance standards.
- Promote the organisation through marketing and sales events.
- Experience of working with unemployed adults and/or young people.
- Proven track record in sourcing employment and work placements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills.
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle.
- Knowledge of safeguarding, Prevent, and the local labour market.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure.
- Experience within the Work-Based Learning industry.
