Interview

After we receive your application, one of our dedicated consultants will contact you to schedule an interview. This is a chance for you to share your unique experience and expertise while allowing us to better understand the type of work you're seeking and how we can best support your career goals.

Please remember to bring your Right to Work documentation to the interview.

Documents

Following your interview, the team will be working hard to get you cleared for work. We can get you through the compliance process as quickly as you send us all the required documentation:
 
  • Up-to-date CV
  • A current Enhanced DBS check on the update service (if your DBS is not on the update service, we won't be able to use it and will need to process a new DBS for you)
  • Professional registration
  • Proof of national insurance (P45/P60)
  • Proof of address (Bank statement / Utility bill)
  • Right to Work (Passport / Birth certificate / Share code)
  • Valid form of ID (Passport / driving license)
  • Proof of relevant qualifications and training
  • Photo for your ID card
  • Union Membership
  • Overseas Police Check If you have lived abroad for a period over 6 months within the last 5 years
We also offer require the following training to ensure you are prepared to succeed in your new role. If you do not have this training already, we have an extensive training portal where you can complete the training:
 
  • Basic Life (AED, BLS, ILS)
  • Manual Handling
  • Safeguarding Children
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • Fire Awareness
  • Equality and Diversity
  • Conflict Resolution
  • Information Governance
  • Infection Control
  • Health and Safety
  • Control and Restraint (PMVA,PBM)

Aftercare

After our dedicated compliance team reviews and verifies your documentation, your consultant will reach out to discuss your availability and the opportunities we currently have for you. We will also arrange a time to provide you with your uniform, ID badge and timesheets so you are fully prepared for your new venture.

How do I get paid?

  • You will be paid weekly on a Friday providing your timesheet has been submitted by the required deadline
  • You will always be paid a week in arrears
  • It is your responsibility to submit your paper timesheet to the payroll team by 9am Monday via payroll@hooprecruitment.co.uk
  • Your timesheet needs to be completed correctly, with all required information clearly legible. Timesheets that have missing information cannot be processed
  • Providing you have submitted your timesheet to the payroll team by the deadline, you will be paid on the main payrun on Friday
  • If you submit your timesheet after this deadline we cannot guarantee you will be paid on Friday

For nurses this is mandatory, and we strongly advise support staff to register with a union too.

If this happens within working hours, during your shift, we are able to send a copy to the client, but this is not advisable as takes the client away from their patients/service users. In some cases, including the weekend, you may have to return to the service at your earliest convenience to get it signed. You need to ensure you have plenty of timesheets, so let the team know when you are running low and arrange collection of more in plenty of time.

We advise you give us as much notice as possible of your availability. You can do this via Whatsapp, email, or giving us a call.

You will have been sent an email with a link in. Please follow instructions to log in. Once successfully logged in, you will be able to see the training that has been allocated to you.
