Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor

Pay: From £110.00 per day

Job Description:

Hoop Education is currently seeking confident and adaptable Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Flintshire. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to gain valuable classroom experience while supporting pupils in a Welsh-medium or bilingual environment.

Your Role:

•    Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff
•    Deliver pre-set work and ensure pupils remain on task
•    Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
•    Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
•    Provide support and guidance to pupils where needed
•    Report back to teaching staff on pupil engagement and progress
•    Contribute to the smooth running of the school day

About You:

•    Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)
•    Experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable
•    Confident in managing classroom behaviour
•    Strong communication and organisational skills
•    Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach
•    A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
