Hoop Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1-2-1 Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Porthcawl. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to learners who require additional assistance to reach their full potential.
Your Role:
- Provide 1-2-1 support to pupils with additional learning needs
- Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities and learning styles
- Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in the classroom
- Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs where required
- Assist with daily classroom routines and organisation
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and development
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver personalised support
About You:
- Experience in education, childcare, or support work
- A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- Relevant qualifications or training are beneficial but not essential
