Hoop Education is looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) and challenging behaviour in secondary schools across Pembrokeshire.
We’re looking for someone who is patient, resilient and confident supporting young people who may require additional emotional, behavioural and learning support.

What the Role Entails
- Providing 1:1, small-group and classroom support
- Supporting pupils with ALN and challenging behaviour
- Helping pupils regulate emotions and manage behaviour
- Encouraging engagement with learning and developing confidence
- Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
- Supporting teachers to create a calm, structured and inclusive classroom
- Responding to challenging situations calmly and professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people
- Experience supporting ALN and/or challenging behaviour is highly desirable
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Available 5 days a week for an immediate start
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
- EWC registration, or willingness to register
- Welsh-speaking is highly desirable
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable
