Job Description

Cardiff Youth Justice Service Team Manager vacancy Cardiff Youth Justice Service is looking for a dedicated social work or equivalent, professionally qualified Team Manager on an interim basis pending a service restructure. As an experienced Team Manager you will be responsible for the direct line management of a team who work with young people at risk of, or involved in, the criminal justice system. You will be able to offer guidance and support to staff as well as review and quality check their work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop areas of work outside of supervision, specifically within the Quality Assurance side of youth justice work. You will work within a management team to develop the service, line management through to performance management and implementation.

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
