Team Manager - Children's Mental Wellness

 

Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £47 Umbrella

We have an opportunity that has become available for a temporary experienced Team Manager to work alongside the Mental Wellness team in our Children, Families and Safeguarding Service.

The suitable candidate will be expected to assist the with the delivery of high quality social work service to people who are deemed vulnerable or needing support due to prolonged social stressors which is impacting upon their daily functioning.

You will be required to build excellent links with third sector organisations to provide proportionate responses to individuals.

You will need to work with the individual, carers and families to provide support and to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that the individual, families and carers are at the centre of decision making about their lives and the outcomes that they want to achieve.

The assignment is for 37HPW, Monday – Friday.  There is an expectation that candidate lives locally or with in a commutable distance as the position is located in Conwy County. The worker will work from the office – Coed Pella, Colwyn Bay, Conwy. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks with potential to be extended.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
