Social Worker - Older People and Hospital Social Work

£35.98 per hour Umbrella company

 

We currently have a short term vacancy for a Social Worker to work in Conwy County Council's Older People & Hospital Social Work Services. The assignment is for 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday.  There is an expectation that candidate lives locally or with in a commutable distance as the position is located in Conwy County. The worker will work from the office – Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay, Conwy. The assignment is expected to last approximately 12 weeks with potential to be extended. Pay rate for this role is £28.01 PAYE or £35.98 Umbrella company.

Skills and qualifications required:

• Social Work Qualified, minimum 3 years post qualified plus technology & software skills
• Registered with Social Care Wales. 
• Team work & interpersonal skills
• Experience in working with Older People and Hospital Social Work settings 

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker with adults services experience
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing 
• Driving license with access to a car
