Torfaen Adult Mental Health Social Work Team

Hoop Recruitment are delighted to be supporting Torfaen CBC in recruiting a highly motivated and dynamic Social Worker to join their Adult Mental Health Social Work Team (CMHT) on a 9-month contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed, multi-disciplinary Adult Services division working collaboratively with partner agencies to support adults experiencing mental distress across Torfaen. The team’s focus is on proactive, person-centred practice, promoting choice, control, positive risk-taking, and meaningful social inclusion to achieve the best possible recovery outcomes.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• AMHP qualification is desirable but NOT essential
• Strong assessment, safeguarding and risk management skills
• Experience across a wide range of social care processes
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, and a commitment to positive multi agency working.
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
