Hoop Social Work is currently recruiting for an experienced Childcare Social Worker to join the team in Ammanford on an initial 3-month contract.

This is a frontline, statutory role ideal for a confident practitioner who is experienced across the full spectrum of child protection and care planning.

The Role

You will be working across:

• Child Protection

• Child in Need

• Looked After Children

• Court Work

This is a varied caseload where strong assessment skills, clear analysis and confident court work are essential. You’ll need to be organised, resilient and able to manage competing priorities while keeping the child at the centre of your practice.

If you’re someone who thrives in a busy team and is confident presenting evidence in court, this is a solid contract opportunity at pledge rate.

To Apply, You’ll Need:

• Minimum 6 months’ UK experience as a registered Social Worker

• A recognised Social Work qualification

• Registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)

• 3 years of referencing

• Full driving licence and access to a car
