Social Work Assistant - Mental Wellbeing
Aberystwyth / Hybrid
Temporary| 37 hours per week
Pay rate £16 per hour PAYE plus holidays
Mid February start
Are you passionate about mental wellbeing, early intervention and keeping families together? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Mental Wellbeing Service where your work genuinely makes a difference to children, young adults and their families.
As a Mental Wellbeing Social Work Assistant, you’ll work alongside skilled professionals to support children and young adults experiencing mental health challenges, helping them and their families to build resilience, independence and stability within their local community.
Your work will play a key part in:
-Supporting children, young adults and their families with mental wellbeing needs
-Promoting independence, strengths and positive outcomes
-Working in line with the Social Services and Wellbeing (Wales) Act 2014 and relevant Mental Health legislation
-Contributing to statutory functions within a supportive, multi-disciplinary service

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a social work assistant or similar i.e managing a caseload
- Relevant experience working with clients with Mental Health needs
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
