MASH Team Manager

 

Pay rate from £42.80 per hour

 

Conwy County Borough Council 

 

We have an opportunity that has become available for a temporary experienced Team Manager to work alongside the MASH team in our Children, Families and Safeguarding Service.

The suitable candidate will be expected to assist the Section Manager in managing the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team covering the County Borough of Conwy, providing a referral service for Children and Families in need of Care and Support, Children in Need of Protection and a small number of looked after children.

To be responsible for the oversight and governance of case management through the supervision and management of the team. To monitor supervisee’s performance and collate performance data to meet statutory duties, service evaluation and planning.

To drive cases to meet the child’s needs promptly within the prescribed timescales and to ensure that children are properly protected and supported within the community and within the care system. 

To assist the Section Manager and multi-agency colleagues in providing an effective ‘front door’ service for safeguarding children and adults.

1 day remote, 4 days office.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
