Interim Team Manager - North Somerset Council - Youth Offending
Pay rate £44.02 per hour

North SomersetYouth Justice Service is looking for a dedicated social work or equivalent, professionally qualified Team Manager on an interim basis pending a service restructure. This role is offering an immediate start and will initially run for a 4 month period. Pay rate for this role is £44.02 payrolled via Umbrella. PAYE options available. The role offers hybrid working with an on-site based of Weston Super Mare.
As an experienced Team Manager you will be responsible for the direct line management of a team who work with young people at risk of, or involved in, the criminal justice system. You will be able to offer guidance and support to staff as well as review and quality check their work. This is an excellent opportunity to develop areas of work outside of supervision, specifically within the Quality Assurance side of youth justice work. You will work within a management team to develop the service, line management through to performance management and implementation.
To apply for this role, you will need to hold -
- A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker or probation officer
- A relevant Social Work Qualification or Probation qualification
- Registration with Social Work England if social work trained and not probation
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 Years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
