Family and Friends team Social Worker Caerphilly

Pay rate in line with the All Wales Pledge - £38 Umbrella

Caerphilly CBC Family and Friends Team manage those children who are subject to PCCP, Kinship Fostering arrangements and children on Special Guardianship Orders. They are looking for a social worker to join them on an initial 3 month contract, preferably for full time hours. Pay rate is £30.50 PAYE or £38.43 in line with the ADSS pledge. Car driver is mandatory.

In this role you will be:

• Working with children and young people subject to CLA status and those subject to an SGO. 
• Undertaking assessments, CLA reviews, care and support meetings
• Undertaking visits
• Completing court reports to revoke Care Orders
• Updating connected persons assessments to secure an SGO for children and young people who reside with a kinship carer and the time is right to discharge the Care Order in favour of an SGO
• Undertake duty.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing 
• Driving license with access to a car
