Family Safeguarding - Experienced Social Worker

Pay rate - £42 Umbrella

Swindon Council 

3 days in the office, 2 remote days.

''The team work within pods to optimise the management, oversight and support to all Social Workers. There are 5 Social Workers and 1 Manager per POD. 

Social Workers must have with experience and skill to: 

• Undertake comprehensive assessments including parenting assessments in a timely way to inform development of outcome focused care plans with Children and their Families.
• Undertake care proceedings within the court, both private and public.
• Initiate and complete within court timescales and achieve permanency plans for children including adoption.
• Understand and respond to complexity of risks and are required to evidence on records, including providing analysis of their interventions with children and families. 

We also have a specific number of vacancies to work specifically with Children in Need to progress their Child in Need plans working closely with our adult practitioners within the family safeguarding model to improve outcomes for our children.''

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
