Disabled Children's Team - Social Worker

Pay rate - £38 Umbrella

Devon Council 

Social Worker required as soon as possible to work with disabled children in North Devon. The role will be on a full-time basis working 37 hours per week. Candidates must have the experience and qualifications to meet the role of a Social Worker with preferred knowledge of children in care/ child protection/children with disabilities.   Hybrid working with a requirement to be in the office on duty days and to see children in Devon, can be discussed at interview stage.  Candidates with recent or ongoing CIN/CP etc case holding experience (Ideally with Children's with Disability) will be considered.

•    Location: North Devon 
•    Base: Barnstaple
•    Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hour week.
•    Hybrid Working: Office & home-based (subject to service needs) 
o    Required in the office for duty days, minimum 1-2 days per week.

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
