Job Description

Annual Care Act Reviews - Deputy Team Manager

 

Pay rate dependent on experience - £38 - 42

 

Bath and North East Somerset Council 

 

This will include supervising 4 Social Care Practitioners and 1 administrator. Reviews include older adults, learning disabilities and autism. Tasks include - checking and signing off Care Act Reviews and assessments, supporting practitioners with undertaking mental capacity assessments, support and advising around care planning and signposting to third sector organisations where appropriate. The successful candidate will also need to cover a 'duty' rota (average 1 day a week) for the Learning Disability Service which will include responding to new referrals, package related queries and Safeguarding triaging. In addition the post holder will lead on project work consisted of targeted reviews for various service user groups. Base is Keynsham Civic Centre. A hybrid model of working is required which does need to include some face to face presence within county (Bath and North East Somerset). Average 2 days

  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Care Wales
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing
  • Driving license with access to a car
