Pay rate - £41 Umbrella

Our Children in Care team based in Gloucester is looking for an experienced Social Worker who understands the need for permanence for young people and who will demonstrate grip and tenacity to ensure young people feel safe and secure to enable them to achieve their potential.
It is essential that candidates have experience or are skilled at writing CPR’s (child permanence report) under supervision. They need to have knowledge and practice of working with children in care and considering their needs fully, a good understanding of family finding and matching with adopters, including completion of relevant Court reports and support plans.  
The role is full time where home working opportunities are available with the expectation that workers will come into the office 3 days per week and visit people to undertake the work when needed. This is subject to change and the candidate should be flexible to meet the Teams’ needs.

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
