Corporate Parenting - Advanced Social Worker

Pay rate - £42 Umbrella

Location: Work from home.  Occasional visits to Devon for supervision meetings will be encouraged (e.g. 1 day in 6 weeks).  
Rate is up to £42per hour DoE
Business expenses can be reclaimed, e.g. petrol, transport expenses, accommodation.

Candidates will need to be flexible in terms of expected travel but as they will have a case load of 8/9 young people and need to visit them all twice within 6 weeks. Candidates will need access to a car as visits could be anywhere in England and might not be accessible using public transport.  It might be difficult to predict where young people will be placed as this will depend on circumstances, availability of support etc. 

As journeys may be spread out, we would reimburse accommodation/overnight costs where it’s needed and if travel to Devon is needed then they could claim the £150 per week. However, expenses won’t be paid outside of this as workers are able to travel to visits directly from the home location.

• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales
• Enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
