Hoop Social Work is currently recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join the Adults with Learning Disabilities Team in Bridgend.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team focused on enabling adults with learning disabilities to live purposeful, meaningful and fulfilled lives. The contract is initially 3–6 months, with strong potential to extend whilst permanent recruitment is underway.

The Role

The Learning Disabilities Team works alongside service users and their families to maximise independence and create opportunities that enhance quality of life.

As part of this team, you will:

• Undertake strengths-based assessments

• Complete person-centred care planning

• Manage a defined caseload

• Deliver effective care management

• Work in partnership with families and multi-agency professionals

• Meet performance standards and maintain accurate IT-based records

This role would suit an enthusiastic practitioner with a strong value base and a genuine commitment to strengths-based and person-centred practice.

Previous experience within an Adults Learning Disabilities team is essential.

To Apply, You’ll Need:

• Minimum 6 months’ UK experience as a registered Social Worker

• A recognised Social Work qualification

• Registration with Social Care Wales or Social Work England

• Enhanced DBS (Update Service or willing to apply)

• 3 years of referencing

• Full driving licence and access to a car
