Pay rate £35 per hour Umbrella

An adults social worker is required to join Merthyr Social Services for an initial 3 month contract to work on the front line service. This roles offers hybrid working , flexible working and a base of Ty Keir Hardie.

In this role you will be required to work on the initial support service and also support with Section 126 enquiries and also support with some hospital cases.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing
• Driving license with access to a car
