We’re delighted to be supporting Gloucester’s Locality Team as they welcome three experienced Adults Social Workers to join their welcoming, values-led service. Based at Shire Hall in the heart of the city, this team is passionate about delivering meaningful, person-centred support to the people of Gloucestershire.

About the Role

Our Social Workers listen deeply to what matters most to the people they support — helping them stay connected to their community, maintain independence, and rebuild control during times of crisis.

The service uses the Three Conversations approach, a strengths-based model that focuses on people, their networks, and the community around them.

You’ll be joining a team that truly understands the realities of frontline practice and ensures you have the support, guidance and manageable caseloads needed to make a real difference every day.

What’s On Offer

  • £35 per hour

  • £150 weekly accommodation/mileage allowance (T&Cs apply)

  • Capped caseloads of 25

  • Guaranteed initial 3-month placement (with potential to extend)

  • Remote / agile working:

    • Then approx. 2–3 days per week in Gloucestershire for visits/meetings/supervision

  • Regular supervision and excellent line management support

  • Supportive, collaborative team environment
