Social Worker - Adults Community Team

£35 per hour Umbrella

 

A Qualified Social Worker is required to join Devon County Council for an initial 3 month contract to join West Devons' Adult Community Care Team. This is a full time contract offering hybrid working. Pay rate for this role is £35 per hour Umbrella company.

In this role you will be required to complete core social work assessments including, Care Act assessments, MCA/BI, Community DoLs, court work & Safeguarding. You must be IT literate and have proven IT skills.  In addition you will need to be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative. You will be responsible for managing a complex and varied caseload.

To apply for this role, you will need to hold -

• A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
• A relevant Social Work Qualification
• Registration with Social Care Wales / Social Work England
• Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
• 3 Years of referencing 
• Driving license with access to a car
