Youth Tutor
Hoop PS&HR are proud to be working closely with a forward thinking and employee focused organisation who are looking for a Youth Trainer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. This position is based in Aberdare and comes with a salary of up to £27,000.
As a Youth Tutor you will be responsible for delivering a structured learning and employability framework to young learners, supporting them in achieving positive outcomes. This includes classroom-based teaching, vocational assessment, and training, ensuring that learners progress effectively toward their qualifications and career goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging induction sessions, introducing learners to digital platforms, curriculum, and qualifications.
- Plan and implement structured learning and assessment processes, ensuring learners’ needs are met.
- Develop and deliver lesson plans with a focus on teaching strategies, including whole-class, group, and individual learning activities. Provide targeted support for learners with additional learning needs or those at pre-entry level.
- Deliver direct teaching sessions and facilitate active learner engagement.
- Work closely with learners’ Lead Workers to support progression and career development.
- Maintain learner records, ensuring all assessments, progress reviews, and documentation are updated onto the system.
- Assist with administrative tasks to support training and learner-related documentation.
- Experience working with young people.
- Previous experience working with as a trainer or tutor.
- Strong IT and Communication skills
- Strong ability to engage, motivate, and support people on a learning environment.
- Ability to design and deliver sessions.
- Provide effective feedback and monitor progression.
