Senior People Advisor
Location: Hybrid – flexible across Cardiff, Bristol, Exeter, London, Glasgow, or Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,000
Contract: Temporary, until end of January 2026
Working Pattern: Full-time with flexible working arrangements

Hoop Professional Services & HR are super excited to be supporting our valued client, a global market leader, in the search for a Senior People Advisor to join their UK HR team on a temporary basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing HR function during a busy but exciting period. Acting as a senior point of contact within the UK People Advisory team, you will deliver high-quality HR support while helping to maintain operational continuity. This is a business-facing, hands-on role that offers real scope to make a positive impact within a respected, international organisation.

In this varied and rewarding role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising managers on employment policies and HR procedures across multiple UK locations, drawing on your strong knowledge of regional labour law.
  • Supporting and guiding on global HR processes such as performance development planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and annual reviews, acting as a regional champion where required.
  • Providing day-to-day support and training for systems such as Workday, ServiceNow, and reporting tools.
  • Managing employee casework including leave management (e.g. parental, sick leave) and advising on both individual and collective employment matters.
  • Taking part in people-focused campaigns, onboarding activities, and wider HR initiatives across the region.
  • Contributing to the development and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
  • Playing an active role in key HR projects and wider regional HR activities in line with business priorities.

What we’re Looking for:

  • Strong background in employee relations and UK employment law.
  • Demonstrated experience in advising managers and handling complex casework.
  • Hands-on experience supporting global or regional HR processes.
  • Strong understanding of HR systems and tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work flexibly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
  • CIPD or similar qualification is desirable, though practical experience is essential.
