Hoop Professional Services & HR are supporting a client within the work-based learning and apprenticeship sector with the recruitment of a Qualified Assessor in Children’s Care, Play, Learning & Development.
This role sits within funded apprenticeship delivery, supporting employed learners across the childcare workforce.
The Role As a Qualified Assessor, you will provide structured, end-to-end support to apprenticeship learners in the workplace, ensuring they are fully prepared to achieve their qualifications and progress within their roles.

The Role As a Qualified Assessor, you will provide structured, end-to-end support to apprenticeship learners in the workplace, ensuring they are fully prepared to achieve their qualifications and progress within their roles.
You will:
- Deliver assessment and learner support within workplace settings
- Travel regionally to conduct on-site assessments
- Develop and manage Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
- Review and evaluate workplace evidence against qualification standards
- Maintain accurate compliance and audit records
- Support achievement of performance and quality targets
- Liaise with employers to ensure effective learner progression
What We’re Looking For Essential:
- Recognised assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent)
- Experience within apprenticeship or funded provision delivery
- Occupational competence in Children’s Care, Play, Learning & Development
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- Willingness to undertake DBS (company funded) and EWC registration
- Welsh speaking
