Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–4:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the role You’ll be guiding Health & Social Care learners throughout their apprenticeship journey - helping them build confidence, develop the skills they need, and successfully achieve their qualifications.

This position offers a blend of workplace visits, virtual sessions, and home/office-based planning, giving you plenty of autonomy and variety in your working week.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing structured, supportive assessment throughout the learner journey.
  
  
• Tailoring delivery methods to suit individual learning needs.
  
  
• Visiting learners in their work settings to complete assessments and gather evidence.
  
  
• Creating and updating Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  
  
• Assessing evidence against awarding body standards.
  
  
• Maintaining accurate learner records to meet audit requirements.
  
  
• Supporting learners to stay motivated and on track with their progress.
  
  
• Planning and monitoring learner performance against agreed targets.
  
  
• Arranging additional day-release or in-house training sessions where needed.
  
  
• Recording learner achievements clearly and thoroughly.
  
  

What we’re looking for Essential:

• A recognised assessing qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA or equivalent).
  
  
• Experience delivering apprenticeships.
  
  
• Strong occupational background within Health & Social Care.
  
  
• Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  
  
• Willingness to complete a DBS check (covered by the employer) and register with EWC.
  
  

Desirable:

• Welsh language skills.
