ALN Teaching Assistant

Location: Cardiff
Pay: £92.56 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Hoop Education is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistants to support pupils in schools across Cardiff. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored support to learners who require additional assistance to reach their full potential.

Your Role:

•    Provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning needs
•    Adapt learning activities to suit individual abilities and learning styles
•    Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement in the classroom
•    Support pupils with emotional and behavioural needs where required
•    Assist with daily classroom routines and organisation
•    Monitor and report on pupil progress and development
•    Work closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver personalised support

About You:

•    Experience in education, childcare, or support work
•    A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•    Ability to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
•    A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
•    Relevant qualifications or training are beneficial but not essential
