Hoop Education is recruiting ALN Teaching Assistants to work across a wide range of schools in Swansea, including several with well-established ALN units. This provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting pupils with a variety of additional learning needs in both mainstream and specialist settings.
Whether you’re a graduate, aspiring teacher, or new Learning Support Assistant, this is an excellent way to begin your career in education.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
- Working on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting teachers in delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Gaining experience in both classroom environments and dedicated ALN units
What We’re Looking For
- Willingness to work with children with ALN (essential)
- Positive, patient, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable and committed approach
Desirable (but not essential):
- Knowledge or previous exposure to ALN / SEN
